3. Quotes & Orders

• Project pricing is based on the information provided at the time of your request.
• Quotes remain valid for a reasonable period unless otherwise stated.
• An order begins once payment has been received or written approval has been provided.
• Additional services requested after the project begins may require additional charges.
• Complex properties or projects requiring additional research may require revised pricing before work begins.

4. Payments

• Payment is required before drafting begins unless another arrangement has been approved.
• We accept secure online payment methods.
• Project fees cover drafting services described in your quote.
• Government permit fees, survey fees, engineering services, architectural services, or other third-party costs are not included unless specifically stated.

5. Project Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate project information, including:

The correct property location.

Project Details

The type of project and proposed improvements.

Supporting Documents

Any surveys, sketches, permit comments, architectural plans, or other documents that may assist with drafting.

Incorrect or incomplete information may delay project completion or require revisions.

6. Delivery & Revisions

Most standard residential projects are delivered within our advertised turnaround times; however, delivery may vary depending on project complexity, customer response times, holidays, or additional information requests.

Free revisions are provided for permit office comments related to our drafted work.

Additional revisions caused by project design changes, property changes, or new customer requests may require additional fees.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for reviewing all submitted plans before using them for permit applications.
• Customers should verify that all project information is accurate before submission.
• Some jurisdictions may require additional documents, licensed surveys, engineering, architectural drawings, or other professional approvals beyond our drafting services.
• Permit approval is always determined by the local building department.

8. Intellectual Property

• All drawings, graphics, documents, website content, and materials created by City Permit Plans remain our intellectual property until payment has been received.
• Completed drawings may only be used for the project and property for which they were prepared.
• Website content, logos, graphics, and branding may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

City Permit Plans provides drafting services based on customer information and publicly available parcel records.

While we make every effort to prepare accurate permit-ready plans, we cannot guarantee permit approval because each jurisdiction has its own review process and requirements.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Customer-provided information
• Utility companies
• Survey discrepancies
• Changes in local regulations
• Third-party professionals

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific drafting service provided.
