By using citypermitplans.com, submitting a quote request, sending project files, purchasing services, approving a project scope, or communicating with City Permit Plans about a project, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you are using the website or ordering services on behalf of a company, property owner, contractor, or other person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
City Permit Plans provides drafting, site-plan preparation, permit-document support, and related project-coordination services. Services may include residential site plans, commercial site plans, ADU site plans, pool site plans, permit-expediting support, correction revisions, and other drafting-related services described on the website or in a written quote.
The exact service depends on the approved quote, project information, local requirements, and documents available. A quote or invoice may define the deliverable, price, timeline, revision scope, file format, and any client-provided information required before work begins.
Unless specifically stated in writing, our services do not include architectural design, structural engineering, civil engineering, land surveying, legal advice, zoning legal opinions, construction management, contractor services, permit filing, government representation, field measurements, inspections, or professional certifications.
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information needed to prepare the requested work. This may include the property address, parcel information, project type, dimensions, sketches, photographs, contractor drawings, surveys, prior plans, correction notices, and local agency comments.
Prices shown on the website, including “from” pricing, are starting prices for standard scopes. Final pricing depends on parcel complexity, project type, available documents, jurisdiction requirements, number of sheets, requested turnaround, revisions, and whether additional research or coordination is required.
Payment terms are provided in the quote, invoice, checkout page, or written communication. Work may not begin until required payment, deposit, authorization, or project information is received. Government fees, permit fees, filing fees, surveys, engineering, architectural work, printing, shipping, third-party charges, and other outside costs are separate unless expressly included in writing.
Delivery timelines are estimates unless a written agreement states otherwise. Typical delivery depends on complete intake, project scope, staff availability, review complexity, client response time, and whether additional information is required.
Because drafting work begins quickly and requires professional time, research, and project setup, paid services may become non-refundable once work has started. Refunds are not guaranteed for completed work, delivered files, client-caused changes, agency decisions, or permit denials.
Standard services include reasonable revisions needed to address permit-office comments when those comments relate to the original site-plan scope and the original project information. To request a correction revision, you must provide the complete written correction notice, reviewer markup, agency email, or official comment.
Revisions may require additional fees when they involve a new project location, changed dimensions, additional structures, a different project type, new site features, added sheets, new calculations, updated surveys, engineering requirements, major design changes, or information not included in the original scope.
City Permit Plans provides drafting and permit-support services. Unless expressly stated in a written agreement signed by the appropriate licensed professional, our deliverables are not land surveys, architectural plans, engineered drawings, legal opinions, construction permits, inspection approvals, or professional certifications.
A site plan may be prepared from public records, aerial imagery, prior plans, client measurements, or an existing survey. Only a licensed land surveyor can certify legal property boundaries, monuments, easements, topography, or field conditions when required.
Structural design, civil grading, drainage, retaining walls, foundations, building design, electrical design, plumbing design, gas systems, and other technical systems may require architects, engineers, contractors, or other licensed professionals.
We do not provide legal advice, zoning legal opinions, land-use entitlements, variance representation, title review, or interpretation of private restrictions.
City Permit Plans does not guarantee that any permit, zoning approval, inspection, variance, entitlement, HOA approval, or agency review will be approved. Permit decisions are controlled by the reviewing agency, applicable codes, ordinances, property conditions, inspections, and professional requirements.
Delivery of a plan does not authorize construction. You must obtain all required permits and approvals before beginning work when permits are required.
You retain ownership of materials you provide, such as photographs, surveys, prior plans, sketches, project information, and other client files. By submitting those materials, you grant City Permit Plans permission to use, copy, review, modify, and incorporate them as needed to provide the requested service.
Drafting templates, drawing styles, internal processes, website content, original text, graphics, and service workflows created by City Permit Plans remain the property of City Permit Plans unless otherwise agreed in writing.
After full payment, you may use the delivered project files for the property and project for which they were prepared. You may not resell, publish, reuse for unrelated projects, or alter deliverables in a way that suggests City Permit Plans approved changes we did not review.
You agree to use the website and services lawfully and responsibly. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, use automated scraping in a harmful manner, upload unlawful files, impersonate another person, submit false project information, or use our services to violate laws, permit rules, property rights, or third-party rights.
We may refuse service, cancel a project, restrict access, or decline communication if we believe a request is fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, abusive, outside our scope, or incompatible with our services.
The website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate, useful, and professional drafting services, but we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, that every project will be accepted by an agency, or that all public records and third-party information are complete or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, City Permit Plans is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from website use, project delays, agency decisions, construction issues, permit denials, third-party actions, inaccurate client information, or services outside our written scope.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for a paid project is limited to the amount you paid to City Permit Plans for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
If a concern arises, you agree to contact City Permit Plans first so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. Many issues can be resolved by reviewing the project scope, correction notice, submitted documents, or delivery record.
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where City Permit Plans operates and where the services are provided, unless a written agreement states otherwise. If a specific governing state, venue, arbitration clause, or dispute process is required, this section should be reviewed and customized by a qualified attorney.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms are effective when posted on this page unless a different effective date is stated.
